The Hobby box for this set contains just 56 cards and costs close to $60. Thus these black and white cards cost at least $1.00 each. Further, since there are 150 base cards and 80 chase cards, it would take at least 5 boxes to complete the set even if you got almost perfect collation. Finally, there is supposed to be one “hit” per box, but large numbers of people are finding no hits in their boxes. What is going on with Topps?

When was the Galaxy 2018 set released and why didn’t I ever hear about it? Were there no Hobby boxes? Please fill me in. Thanks.

This set has been released on December 12.
I don’t know why you didin’t hear about it cause I knew about it this summer.
The best part is the insert set about the Ahsoka Journey by Filoni.

Any news about the next series ?
I think we’ll have journey to EP 9 and the 1st series about the Ep 9 but between now and December, how many series will be released ?

Aside from the Authentics and the On Demand sets, I don’t see anything else coming out until July 24 when Chrome Legacy comes out. Topps must be too involved with baseball right now.

I’ve just heard that the SW Resistance season 1 is available.
No word from Topps.
They haven’t faith in that TV show or what ? ^^’

I saw a box of the Resistance cards at Target yesterday. I should have looked to see how many cards were in it, but it couldn’t have been more than 10 or 20. They were hanging on a peg with the Magic, etc. cards. I’m not interested in this program or the cards, but some of you probably are.

Found Resistance cards at my local Target today. They have Blaster boxes for 9.99 with 5 packs of 6 cards and a “dangler”. Hanger boxes for 5.99 with 3 packs of 6 cards and a “mini album”. They also had single packs for 1.99.

The Chrome Legacy cards are about to be released. You get 60 cards per Hobby box, with a price of about $100. The base set for the release has 200 cards, plus there are at least three insert sets. That means you have to buy at least 4 boxes ($400) to have a chance at getting a complete set, and even then you have to have almost perfect collation.

Apparently Topps has decided they will cater to the high end group of collectors and not worry about the rest of us.

New card set coming tomorrow, Aug. 28, and it is a more traditional set with a more realistic price. The Skywalker Saga will show iconic moments from the Skywalker family, etc. 8 cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 100 base cards, 5 insert sets, 2 hits per box, and several other things to chase.

Journey to the Rise of Skywalker card set coming out tomorrow, October 4. Looks like a pretty standard set, 8 cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 110 base cards. One autograph card and one other hit per box.
