Yoplait - Spain - Star Wars Stickers (Unknown Date)

My original information for these stickers came from Tomart's Price Guide to Star Wars Collectibles. It described four posters and a set of stickers available as a mail-in offer from Yoplait in Spain. Now, thanks to Manuel Pomares Sierra, we have a much more detailed description to provide.

The reality is that the four posters are actually a single fold-out poster that has four scenes from the Empire Strikes Back. That would give a date on this set as either 1980 or 1981. The offer was a mail-away. According to Manuel, it is not difficult to find the stickers (there are 50 in total), but it is difficult to find the fold-out poster without stickers applied. The poster shows scenes from the Empire Strikes Back film, but where the stickers can be applied, there is white space in the shape of that sticker. Naturally, kids tended to apply the stickers to complete the scene.

Because these stickers were intended to be placed on the poster, most show a portion of a scene, rather than showing a full image of a character as you might get with stickers that are meant to be collected individually. While some sticker images are perfect as stand alone images, others seem oddly out of place until you look at where they belong on the poster.
