Chio (Lays) - Poland - Promo Cards (2002)
Chio is a brand name used by the Lays company to distribute chips in a number of European countries. As part of their promotion for Attack of the Clones small trading cards were distributed in packets of chips in Poland. Cards were issued in two sizes, a smaller sized card in small chip bags, and a larger sized card in large chip bags. This created two sets of cards each containing the same 40 images but in large and small sizes.
Card images are of characters from the films (both prequel and classic) are on the front of the card. Each card pops-up to reveal a hidden image of two different characters, one on the front side of the pop up and one on the back side of the pop-up. Cards were not numbered.
A fun set to collect, these have turned up frequently on the secondary card market.
Special thanks to Andy.
