Pelis - Mexico - Episode One Movie Shots (1999)
Issued in Mexico as part of the promotion for Episode One, these movie shots were an improvement on those released for the Special Editions. Each image had a notch on one side, and tab on the other, making it possible to fit each of the 40 cells together like a puzzle, or mini-film reel. Oddly, although clearly designed to be fitted together, the images do not follow the plot-line of the film. These are still one of the coolest items issued for Episode One.
Unlike the 1997 Special Edition movie shots, which were issued in multiple countries, and widely collected, the 1999 movie shots were issued only in Mexico, and were much more difficult to locate and collect. Most Episode One promotions seemed to have been short-lived, making it more difficult for the average collector to find this type of item.
