KFC - Malaysia and UK - E1: Promotional Cards (1999)

In Malaysia, KFC offered a set of Episode One trading cards. The design of this set is similar to the set issued in Australia. Cards have a black background, a yellow/orange border, a character picture within that border, and a small KFC logo at the bottom right corner. Unlike the Australian set however, in Malaysia there are 2 sets to collect.

The first set is called Set A and has cards 1-10 while Set B has cards 11-20. The card numbers are printed on the bottom left corner of each card. These cards also have the character name and description printed behind each card.

This same set was later released in the UK. Thanks to Steve Shore for alerting me to the UK version of this set.

The UK set has an added bonus for some collectors in the form of a postcard-sized card, advertising the launch date of the film in the UK. The back is just plain white. Thanks to Jamie Crompton for informing me about this card.
