Metallic Impressions - Ralph McQuarrie Tin Set (1996)
Another great set of tin cards by Metallic Images. This set features 20 cards, but no checklist card. All cards show some of the most familiar Ralph McQuarrie images, but in the new format of being on metal cards. Each card features a large image on the card front, and a smaller image on the card back along with descriptions of both pictures.
Ralph McQuarrie's artwork is an integral part of the Star Wars universe, and it is nice to see it given it's own card set. It would be great to see more of his artwork featured in a traditional paper card set as well some day.
