Kenner/Hasbro - US - Action Master Promo Cards (1995)

Released during 1994 and 1995 with Kenner Action Master toys, there are 25 different cards to collect. Action Master toys were small die-cast Star Wars figures that can be posed together. Available both singly, and in multi-packs, these toys came packaged with trading cards showing the character from the toy in a movie scene.Interestingly, Action Master toys were supposedly released by Kenner in an effort to judge the market for Star Wars related toys. The trading cards were there as an added incentive to purchase.

The cards also included a fairly detailed biography for each character on the back. Cards were not numbered, but were marked with the product number for the toy they were associated with. I have used the toy number to identify each card. Cards from 1994 state "Action Masters Die Cast Metal Collectibles" on the front, with an orange bar and the character's name on the bottom. Cards from 1995 state "Star Wars The Power of the Force" and have the character's name inside a border with the Rebel or Imperial logo.
