York - Canada - Peanut Butter Cup Cards (1980)

Issued with York Peanut Butter Cups in Canada, these are 6 round cards, similar in size and shape to large stickers, but made of cardboard like a trading card. These cards feature images from the Empire Strikes Back film. Typical of the fun items created as promotions during the early 80's these cards feature classic images in an odd shape that made them fun for kids.

Not quite cards, these cardboard images are still a lot of fun to collect. Like most vintage items, you'll need patience to locate these, but they can be found both still on the original boxes, and off the boxes.
