Campina Ijsfabbrieken - The Netherlands - ROTJ Stickers (1983)

Issued by a Dutch ice cream company (Campina Ijsfabbrieken) during the release of Return of the Jedi, these stickers were a premium for purchase of the ice cream product. Oddly, all of the pictures featured on the stickers were from the movie The Empire Strikes Back.

Stickers were free with the purchase of either a Star Wars ice, or a Rocket Water-ice ice cream product. Unfortunately for kids attempting to complete the sticker set, ice cream vendors often didn't have the stickers in stock. A second problem for kids attempting to complete the set was the flavor of the ice cream you had to purchase to receive the sticker - licorice!
