Being a completionist is never easy, but the 30th anniversary set is proving to be a daunting task indeed. Super rare autos and sketch cards as well as 3 differnt parallels is a supremely difficult and expensive challenge. And don't even get me started on the boxtoppers!!!

This post goes out to all those that have assisted me on my journey so far and to all those that may be able to help me to finish the last leg.

I am trying to be the first known starwarscards.net member to acquire a complete set of GOLD parallels for the 30th anniversary set. The journey, thusfar, has been quick and intense, but I have just a bit further to reach the zenith of my quest.

So, now I beseach my fellow members to assist in my journey. I only have a few numbers to obtain. The numbers I have yet to acquire are as follows:

1,2,6,7,13,45,60,82,95,98,99,106,110,112

I know a handful of these are on the auction site, and I will be bidding on them, with fingers crossed. However, if any member here possesses any of these cards, I implor you to contact me for a possible trade or purchase. Please believe me when I say I will do my best to trade in your favor.

I appreciate everybody's time and look forward to any potential transactions. I will update this post as my quest inches closer and closer to it's fruition.

the last 2 were a little excessive, and that makes me a bit suspicious, especially when some of the bidders are new to e-Bay or have never bid on another GOLD parallel. But, I digress. I am just happy to be 1 card away and hopefully in 5 days I can finally say the quest will be completed!!!

I am still waiting to receive the last card in the mail. I didn't want to jinx the last one, so i was going to wait til I had it in my hand to make the official announcement.

Hopefully it will be waiting for me when I get home!!!

With the arrival of the final GOLD parallel, the quest is finished. I have an equal amount of joy and regret at the ending of this journey, as is the case with most competionists out there I would imagine.
