It's really rare, but I am posting a special advertisement.

I have just ordered my ESB WV 3D card boxes. Yup, boxes plural. While I'm confident a single box will make a set, I know I need to make sets for friends. And this set is SO cool. Smiler

Potomac Distribution is where I've ordered:

http://www.potomacdist.com/list.asp?code=2100

This is the Star Wars page at Potomac Distribution which is the card distributor where I buy my cards and have for years. They also used to run Universal Cards, which was our former affiliate card store. If you are looking to buy one or more boxes of this particular card set, I recommend pre-ordering, and I think Potomac is a good deal at $61 a box (72 cards, of which one is a sketch per Topps).

Add starwarscards.net or cathy in the comment field if you order, so they'll know placing this ad was worth their effort.

Don't worry, ads aren't going to become common on the site.

Cathy, how soon do they get the cards to you? I seem to remember at times you would say it would be almost a week after the official release date before you would get them. Am I remembering that right?

Thanks Cathy, also my preferred distributor for cards. Smiler

Rosemaster, I can tell you that normally I get my boxes or cases within the week to the UK so you should get the cards within days of the release within the US. Thats by standard delivery as well. Once I had the boxes arrive two days following release Wink

I never pay extra for next day shipping, which means that since they are on the east coast, and I'm in the midwest, it would be 3 days from the day they ship till I get the cards.

That's because I always take their FREE shipping with orders over 100, rather than pay the extra for next day. I'm lame that way. Smiler

They do International and US, and the guys are great about answering questions by e-mail or by the chat link on the site.

i ordered CWWV from them and I'm in Germany thru APO box and it took about a week to get here so it's pretty fast. International and APO address have to pay for the postage no matter what which was about $22 for 4 boxes. All in all, I was happy and they are really pleasent to deal with.

Just an addition to the information on ordering the ESB 3D set. I contacted Universal Cards, who used to be the firm tied to this website, to see if they were going to take preorders for these cards since I've ordered all mine from them in the past. They say they will not be selling this set and may go out of business soon. They recommended Potomac.

Sorry if I shouldn't have posted this, Cathy.

Potomac now sell individual boxes, they used to have a high minimum order value but that's now changed. Could it be that Potomac are beginning to merge Universal cards into Potomac?

That's very much wnat it sounded like to me. They are thinking of shutting down Univrsal and rolling it all into Potomac.
