I'd like to do a Holiday Card this year for the website.

I'm not even remotely artistic!

If you would like to submit a possible image to use (you must give me permission to use for the holiday card), please do!

If you want to receive one of the sites Holiday Cards, I'll post more info after arrangements on printing have been made.

Ask your friends, grab your kids, submit images to cathy@ this domain and possibly we'll look at having site members vote, or maybe I'll just pick my favorite.

A prize of some sort will be arranged!

That's incentive I hope. Just something fun. The words part for inside the card not needed on the image, but feel free to suggest them.

Sounds like a great idea, Cathy. Wish I had even a smidge of artistic talent so I could get involved, but I have absolutely none.

i think something done by a kid would be cute too. or if it were something i did, it would look like it was done by a kid!

Sorry guys, I let this one slip. I should have featured the topic. I also shouldn't have let time get away from me like I did! Now that it's LATE December instead of early December, I'm afraid we can't use the image for this year's holiday.

I'd like to propose that we try to gather at least 3 entries (we have one) and that we do something formal to vote and select one to be our primary holiday card for the coming year, and that we also look at what else we might want to do for next year in terms of postcards for the site.

So, that will be two challenges, but a lot more time.

Holiday card contest winner will still end up with a t-shirt.

And with more time, I won't let it slip! I promise.

Hi Cathy, does it have to be a drawing or can it be a picture? We might have a lot more entries if we open this up to pics as well as drawings.

I think pictures should be fine too! Creative in whatever way a person sees fit, so long as it can be made an image that can be sent to the printers.
