They only put one in each order, so you will have to submit eleven orders and pay shipping on each to get eleven cards. They are kinda fun, but I'm not willing to go through all that to try to get them.

Cool change of pace. I was relieved to see they were not from the Chewie Comes Home For the Holidays movie, can't sit more than 5 minutes into that one!! EEEGGGhhhh. Good idea Housten's.....free digital image!
Today I got my Starwarsshop.com order along with my free trading card! I got card #9, which has Vader and R2-D2. This card is limited to 1,750 meaning that it is one of the most common cards in the collection. I know there are mixed feelings about this card set, but I think they are really neat.
The card back reads:
"Treachery Revealed. Thirty years ago, the first animated Star Wars story appeared in The Star Wars Holiday Special, which only aired once in November, 1978. Skeptical of Boba Fett's supposedly altruistric intentions, R2-D2 plugs into the Millennium Falcon's communications array and intercepts a transmission between Fett and his true benefactor, Darth Vader!"

I know someone on another forum that made 12 different orders over several days and he got the same card in every order. Seems you guys may be right about them using up one card before moving on.
Hey, I would just like everyone who posted to know that I also ordered as soon as I could and I got card #4, which is limited to 1,000 cards.
However it is one of two cards which I hoped I WOULDNT receive because I'm not as crazy about the design (it's the one with just chewie wrapped in Boba Fett's cable.)
I ordered again about a week or so later. If I get that same card again, or the other one I don't want would anyone want to trade their #9 for my #4? Thanks!

I'm interested in trading for any extra Holiday Special cards (since I'm not planning on making any purchases through SWshop.com). If you have an extra you want to trade, take a look at my have wants list here:
I just had a #1 arrive on my doorstep. I'm psyched for two reasons:
1) This is the rarest of the cards with only 500 units. 2) Due to a technical snafu on the web site, I didn't have to order any other item or pay shipping, so it came absolutely free!

When they first announced the cards, I added the product that I was most willing to buy, but after seeing how much shipping was, decided not to bother. After I heard the glut of #9's stopped being shipped out (I got that one on ebay as it was cheaper than buying something I didn't really want from the site), I went back on to the site to see if there was anything I wanted yet. The original product was still in my cart so I went in and removed it, but the card stayed in my cart by itself for some reason. (Don't know if it had to do with the length of it being in there, because that free watch promotion came in between or what.) So I figured I'd see if it let me submit the order and it did. I thought for sure I'd get an email that they canceled the order because it's only free with purchase, but a few days later I got the shipping notification with FedEx tracking number. And a few days later the card was here.
I place two orders about three days apart back in early November. In both orders I received the #9 card. I placed another order on December 16 and just received another #9 card today. What a major disappointment. Does anyone have any different numbers they would like to trade for one of my #9 cards ?
