This incredible charity coin supports Operation Ward 57.

A great cause, a great SW collectible. Limited opportunity!

The Pennsylvania SW group always does really terrific stuff for charity. This is a truly rare charity event, because this medallion is officially licensed and approved by Lucasfilm, and because it is in support of a very nice charity as well.

This charity coin is very limited to only 1000, and I would expect it will sell out incredibly quickly.

Still not sold out. I'm shocked! This is an amazingly inexpensive coin, and the funds are all going directly to a great charity. Still time to get one if you want one.

Heh. We started selling our 1000 Fett pins over a year ago and we still have plenty left. Confused

(If you want one, head over to http://www.dcswcc.org and click Fett in the top right corner Razzer )

I bought one of those Fett pins. Also a terrific charity, and a really impressive pin. The design was fantastic.

It is very encouraging that so many of the fan groups do charity items that are often more impressive than anything you see in shops. And with low prices, great collectibility, and supporting great causes too.

I also wish I didn't miss out on the R2-kt challenge coin. It was sold for a fundraiser a year or so ago.

Does anybody happen to have a spare one?

Thanks,
David

They just did another run of the R2 KT coins, a gold one and a silver one. If they open it up again, Ill post it in here, because it benfited the Make A Wish Foundation, they sold it to anyone and everyone, not just 501st members.

And yes I bought one of these coins.

According to the e-mail below, over half the 1000 coins are now sold, so if you want one, order it now.

Also, it is great to note that some of the soldiers who will benefit from your donations are also being given coins. Really, great fundraisers deserve support, so if you like the coin, consider getting one now:

I'd like to thank you for supporting Operation Ward 57 through our
medallion sale. The sale is going very well and we're meeting our
goals. We've already sold more than half our run. Thank you for
making our fundraiser a success.

I wanted to alert you to our shipping plans for the medallions.
Initially we intended to pack them up on July 5th and ship them over
the course of that week. A few days ago we were invited by Operation
Ward 57 to visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center on July 5th to
distribute medallions to the veterans in Ward 57. We're extremely
grateful to have this opportunity! However it does force us to delay
our shipping plans. Our new packing day will be July 12. We
apologize for the delay in shipping, but are sure appreciate our
situation. Thank you for your understanding!
