I know we've been lax with our charity stuff for the site so far this year.

Well, in preparation for Celebration Japan, and with the collaboration of artist Duncan Jenkins, some really COOL postcards have been made up. MOST of these will be given out at Celebration Japan, but a small number are being held aside (and some of these will be autographed by Duncan) to go to folks who either help out with donations for our charity efforts, or bid on our charity items once they are posted.

There are also a VERY SMALL number of magnets (postcard sized) which were created, and these will be offered in our mini-auctions charity event, and a few will go to folks who help out in some way.

I have not yet selected our charity. I've had some really, really great suggestions, but haven't made a final pick yet. Some terrific charities will have to be skipped because they don't offer an easy way for folks to give online donations that I can track in order to send items out to winners.

I'll do my best to select something that everyone can feel good about supporting, and I'll be trying to pick up some cool items in Japan to offer as items for our charity efforts.
