As I sat building a page for one new card set, and contemplated the need to build and update several others, the thought struck me that most of us spend 90% of our time on this site in the forums area, not surfing the checklists.

So, why not put the checklists in as a forum, with each checklist being a post? This would allow the checklist itself to be an attachment, and would allow for more direct commenting about the set as people post replies? Possibly restricting replies to posts in this forum to more senior users who have demonstrated that they know not to post 'trade me' posts in an area meant to be informative? It wouldn't quite be Wiki like, but it would be a different approach to the checklists.

What do you think?

I don't know, Cathy, I kinda like being able to jump to the checklist area and find what I want without anything getting in the way.

I like the checklists separate from the forum area. I do like the idea of being able to make comments on each set, but would it be worth the administrative nightmare of permissions and/or monitoring the posts for relevance?

I kinda like the checklists as they are. I jump to them all the time to look things up.

I like it just the way it is, very easy to locate a set. If anything I think putting the checklists in the forum would make it harder to find the information we need.

I would also like to keep the checklists were they are at. they are easy to find and use.

I like the way the checklists are set up now. Easy to jump back and forth and find things.

Ditto. I find myself referring to the checklists often, and I like the way it is today.

Yeah...I agree with the majority, I like going to one area for all of the checklists as well. But on a positive note, It's worth mentioning that you have done a heck of a job keeping this site updated with current releases & related card information. Thanks Alot!!

I like the checklist where it is for quick reference, and the lists have minimal clutter.

I see this is an older post by its origin, so apparently the Master Cathy listens, because we still have our checklist. Smiler
