Perhaps we could all help trimming this thread down by removing our "updated" posts. The handful of members who use this thread could probably make it a little easier on the eyes and a easier to manage...

Just my 2 cents, and I expect change back

I have been thinking this for while. This thread is one of the biggest and longest running on the site but is way too cluttered.

The way I see it is that we would have to cut the non haves/wants post to zero. That way the number of posts in thread gets cut to only the lists of those who are trading regularly. If we did this though the thread would get lost in the other posts if there are no new lists added so it would have to be made sticky which Cathy has never done for an open trading thread in the Traders Marketplace to my knowledge.

I dont even know though if Cathy would allow for this to happen. May be she could make an exception since this thread is always making its way back to the top of the thread list in the Traders Marketplace?

I have followed Stu's lead on deleting old posts to see where this takes us. It will take loads more people to delete there old posts before the thread becomes clean enough.

I think deleting old posts may be pointless and a new thread could be the way forward perhaps using this as the conversational thread (no lists).

If anybody has any other ideas or thoughts, please let us know them.

Yeah, let's just start new one and hope this one just gets buried due to lack of use. Or is it possible for Cathy to delete it if we asked her?

We've already done a new thread, but it wasnt as active as this one. I suggest that everyone should go back and delete thier own posts and trim it down some. Ive deleted all my old posts. Just a thought.

And Ill ask Cathy if its possible to delete some of the older posts thatare just taking up space.
