I thought as a few people on here collect the 501st cards (Jediscout, StuH, leia214, IG-88, Nebraska, JR2D2, rosemaster etc), why not have 1 thread for all our Have/Want lists instead of several threads for each indervidual members list.
This way it is easier to trade them.

I am still trying to hunt down 501st Trading Cards I have a few spare cards, but need lots more can anyone help? I am sure there are a few more spare out there. Trying to find these in the UK is extremely difficult.

Where do people get these cards?

These cards were given out by each trooper at CIII you had to go up and ask the trooper for his card.

So getting a full set is very hard. Most people are trading these 501st for 501st. Some of the troopers still have cards so you can still get them directly from them.

Got Ray Parks through the mail yesterday.

Some of the troopers forgot to bring there cards to C3, not helping, and handed out theres at other cons later, one person gave all his cards away before the first day to people waiting in line. In theory this is one of the rarest card sets to get as there is only 1,000 of each card.

Not sure, i think he was a clonetrooper, i asked him in the line but i must have asked 300 other 501st members over that 4 days. I asked about 100 of them more then once as i forget i asked them already....... one stormtrooper looks like another.

Who did you get parks off?

How did you all get the Ray Parks card? It is one that I do not have yet . . .

You will have a big task, these cards are probably one of the most highly sort after cards around at the moment and can fetch around $2-4 a card.

They were orignally given out by the 501st legion at Celebration 3 last year, orignally a hundred different cards were made and I beleive they are releasing 50 more some time soon if they haven't done so already already. I beleive but I may be mistaken only a 1000 of each card were printed and each card was handed out only by one member or a select few members the legion.

Problem is even if you were at the C3 event last year not all members gave out there individual cards, handing them out at events later in the year, so getting a full set is almost impossible to acheive.

I have 9 of the 100 and have searched high and low for the last 6 months in and around my other card collecting. I have only ever seen any of these cards on Ebay once.

As for getting some, you can try other collectors here but all that I am aware of are keeping there spares to swap for other cards in the set and will not sell them or release them at the moment.

If you want to collect them I suggest you don't set your sights on completing the set but good luck if you do.

How many sets have actually been completed ? I know of 1 and thats the one on the 501st table at C3. I imagine, the founder got a set and a couple other high ranking 501st members. In all i think there is about 5 complete sets in existance, anyone know otherwise ?

100 sets is still not that many.

You are lucky about the second set.

There were also talks of a UKG only set of 50 cards.

I will go for the second set but if a 3rd is released an is more then 50 i might just drop out of collecting them.

Hey Dale, did you hear anything about Elvis Trooper making "unofficial" extras of his card or something? I got one from him at C3, but it's way bigger than the other cards.

I got both too.

Havn't been on for a while, let the hunt begin for the second set.

Jediscout, did you get a full set of the 2nd set with your cards? How come you never answered my last PM? anyway, send you a new one now.
