Just a FYI for anyone that is interested:

The next happy meal toys at McDonalds are Star Wars. I don't have any other details from these toys (ie, when they will be out, what type of toys they are, or if they are from the films or the Clone Wars series). I would imagine that this set has less number of toys then in previous sets since they are also offering a girls set of iCarly toys at the same time

If anyone knows more about this set, please let me know.

There are key chain like characters that I think open for putting stuff in them (keepers) and then little ships. Not sure if the ships do anything.

Seems to be classic characters and not Clone Wars. I found that interesting. Can't wait for them to come out, even though I hate McDonalds.

I'm curious. We have Happy Meal toys, and the Galaxy 5 set coming out at roughly the same time?

These are classic Star Wars and not just Clone Wars (though some of the ships and the Anakin are clearly Clone Wars).

Is there something I'm missing, or is this promoting something for Lucasfilm? I know this is the 30th anniversary of ESB coming up, but none of these things is particularly ESB oriented the way the new Topps 3D card set will be.

Just seems odd. Good, but odd.

I guess McDonalds felt they needed a new promotion and Star Wars always works well. Like you say, Cathy, it isn't really ESB related and the timing is off. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

I agree with rosemaster. I dont think this is promoting anything. Usually they run the toys to promote a movie or TV show. The new Clone Wars series is off and running and the 30th ESB annv isnt until May.

McDonalds is promoting these Star Wars toys like the My Little Pony/Hot Wheels promotions since the Star Wars toys are with iCarly toys for the girls. Something to pump up their sales????

FYI: Toys are in (NE Ohio)!!! Through collective efforts from my beautiful girlfriend, at the daycare she runs, I've been told that she has 6 of the 8 toys.

Where do people live here where their McDonalds are releasing all of the toys at once on a willy-nilly schedule?! Here, they are released on a regimented schedule, 2 toys at a time. I must have visited a dozen McDs yesterday, and every store had ONLY the Anakin and Anakin's Starfighter.

Just about every McD's I ever been to will sell additional toys with the purchase of a meal.

I should be able to get all of them with no problem. Just have to remember to visit a few McDs once a week before they're gone.

My daughters wanted to help out my cause, addiction, of whatever you want to call it. Last week they decided they would get boys Happy Meals when we went to McDs. I requested for different toys in each meal, however ended up will all Darth Vaders. So I went back to trade them in and all they had were Darth Vaders. They are good kids to support dads habit.

I dont know if this is the right website to post a trade request for McDonalds toys too, however I'm really getting tired of eating McDs.
I'm hoping someone can help me out.
