One of the small perks living a Soldier's life..

VERY cool. Hope you were able to see the film. I hear it really is quite good. Glad they are treating our military guys and gals to a sneak peek. Well deserved.

The Force was not strong with this one...I arrived slightly after 1400 (2pm civilian time ) to find our on-post rinky-dink theater already packed...tons of kids! I was soo ready for this, too...had on my "Let the Wookie Win" t-shirt and everything. Oh well, there is a nicer Carmike theater closer to my home, and they have military discounts, so I save some time (and fuel) and will spend some money this Friday.

We had a free preview here in St. Louis and I took my son. Got there an hour early and waited in line, got in, got goodies, got seats, and watched the movie. As an adult and hardcore original trilogy fan, I was less than impress, but the kids loved it. We watched it on a mega screen and there was lots of movement and shaking action like it was being filmed live, which gave some youngsters a squimish stomache, but most had no problem.

Anakin with a Padawn... I just didn't buy it.
I did appreciate the fact that Christopher Lee, Sam Jackson, and Anthony Daniels did there characters voices.

Every generation should have there own star wars experience.
