What to do? I pulled a sketch error card from the Heritage set this weekend. The sketch is upside down on the card. Since the Indiana Jones set is secondary to Star Wars, I don't have any particular affinity for the card. In fact, I'm not too crazy about the sketch itself. It's the "Melting Man". I am considering putting it on ebay. What do you guys think?
I know that for the Star Wars sketch cards for 30th, there was an upside down sketch done by Katie Cook. I'm not sure if the folks who collect sketch cards consider 'upside down' a plus or a minus. It's at least interesting. You might as well sell or trade it. Get a card you like better instead.
I am not up with IJ colecting but I will give my thoughts anyway. Personally I do not see this type of error card as anything too special, I see it as the same sketch at the end of the day, adds no extra value to me however I would be happy with this sketch if I collected Indiana Jones cards (which I do not at this time). I am sure it could probably grab a few extra $$$ on Ebay or in a trade as people always look for oddities in there card collections, that is if the right collectors notice it.
