I have heard the rumours of a Celebration possibly next year, But I wanted to ask all Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota Star Wars fans. If a Convention was arranged with Possibly 2-3 Actor Guests and Dealer Tables, would you attend? I Know Omaha had Alphacon a few years ago which Failed to attract Over 3,000 People, but how many would attend a 1 day show Like they hold In Plano Texas????

Give Omaha another chance. I actually heard about Alphacon after the event was already here - I think they had horrible advertising. They are having a Star Wars day for the Omaha Royals (AAA Affiliate of the KC Royals) and Omaha has a decent 501st program that seems to be growing. Omaha is a central location from all the midwest states and they now have the Quest Center for conventions. I would not go to Plano.

Jedi Knight, Yes Omaha has a decent 501st Program that does a good Job at Des Moines I-Con and so many other events. Omaha has a Good Airport, has the Civic and Qwest (I prefer Council Bluffs MAC, Free Parking and easily accessible).
I mentioned Plano because they do have good Star Wars Guests, which does bring people to the show, I dont just mean Jeremy Bulloch, Kenny Baker, Peter mayhew and Dave Prowse, no offence to any of them, but they have hit the circuit very hard since they started In the 1990,s.
So who else is for a Midwest/Omaha Star Wars Day?

I would be willing to go to a day show in Omaha or Council Bluffs. Its only a short 3 hour drive from were I live. I could try to talk my family into making a weekend of it and go to the Omaha Zoo.

Did anyone go to the Free Comic Book Day In Omaha and meet Jeremy Bulloch? I am waiting to see what happens next year, as there was such a massive demand for "Boba Fett" I would Love to have all 3 Fetts at a show. I know they are Looking at more Star Wars Guests for Next Years Event.
If a Convention could attract 1,000 People, It would be a Go, depending On if enough Dealers would book a Table that is, and Advertising and Sponsorship. I think the demand could be there.
