very useful. I wish I didn't have to work on Monday so I could play with my cards the minute they arrive, but I guess I have to work to pay for them!

Great folks on the autographs list. I 'think' the Target sketches this time are just red-themed, and don't have a different card back. Nicer for the completionists a bit.

Would love to hear how the card backs are looking. I thought the CW WV card backs had great info. And really, a great set is made by how cool the card fronts, and card backs, will be 20 years from now.

Actually, for SW Galaxy 5, the hobby sketches have a Yoda back and the retail sketches have a Darth Maul back. And the retail are not red-themed, just normal sketches.

Were there any promos for Galaxy 5?

No, unfortunately there's not. Maybe when the binder is released they'll include a promo, hopefully.

The first three Galaxy sets all have upwards of 8 promos. Galaxy 4 had 4 promos. Galaxy 5, none so far!!!

Are there any retail-only chase cards for SWG5 that anyone has info about? There should be sightings of display boxes or top loaders at Targets soon I hope.

Just read on NSU's card talk site that there will be Galaxy 5 promos at the Philly Show. Here's the direct quote from H_Toser:

"Though we haven't formally announced it yet, there will be two different Star Wars Galaxy 5 promos for those who go the Philly Show on May 1st and 2nd. "

Only the sketches with diferent backs to that of hobby that I know of. G4 did have a chase set only found in retail so who knows.
