Really neat to know that the Galaxy set is hobby only. I hope that is a trend with sets of that level. I find it very silly trying to also get the retail sets at times. I can see why Clone Wars would need a retail version though. It is a movie tie-in after all. VERY interesting that there might be a kid-focused set in between. I LOVE stickers and tattoos and silly stuff, so this could end up being something cool for collectors who hate the high-end chase cards. Maybe a t.v. show tie-in?? Great work getting info Dave.

If you want to see the future of Star Wars cards (and non-sport cards in general) look at the trends in sports cards. Parallel sets have been a staple of every sports card producer for quite awhile now, and I'm actually surprised it took this long to get into SW. I really disliked how they did it for SW 30th, but the Indiana Jones Heritage set was much better with one numbered parallel set rather than three different parallel sets. The Family Guy Star Wars set actually has me hoping that Topps does some smaller sets with nice chase cards and doesn't overdo the autos or sketches- that would seem to work better with the Clone Wars and kid-themed set. I'd feel better about buying a case of Galaxy 4 then.

Actually, Topps did have parallel cards years ago for 2 Star Wars sets: Star Wars Finest and Star Wars Galaxy 3. David

And yes we do and shock they haven't obviously got the message yet. May be you put them up to something, if we see first days parallels I'll have you to thank Clone Wars looks like it is meeting the bill for some of us, refer to other thread.

OH! MY! You are the one who gave Topps the idea of parallel cards? <EG> Seriously, that is a strange thing he said. Oh well. For me, 1 per pack is a easy parallel card set to chase after if I do dare. David
